Child Resiliency Program
The Child Resiliency Program is housed at the Family Unity Center. It provides social and emotional, and physical treatment for children, who are the opioid crisis’ youngest, most vulnerable victims. These babies and children often have behavioral and physical developmental issues. This is directly impacted by the risky behavior of their mothers and other family members during and after pregnancy. These children need nurturing and direction.
In the first few years since the program’s inception, we have enhanced our behavioral health, speech therapy, and medical services for the children in our Child Resiliency Program. We have also provided specialized services to assist children’s developmental, social and emotional, and behavioral needs.
